Get ready for a fantastic time at the Badger Brewery!
The Hall and Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival, a highlight in our annual calendar, returns to our brewery in Blandford on June 21 and 22. This year, the event promises even more excitement with an extra day added to the schedule, thanks to last year’s positive feedback.
Expect an unforgettable experience with live music, delicious food, and over 50 different beers to taste. From classic Badger ales to new craft beers (with plenty of new creations including Outland’s Tropical Pale Ale and Stout), there are plenty of exciting brews, with all profits going to The Huntington’s Disease Association, inspired by H&W team member Alice Jewer’s personal story.
Alice shares, “My mother’s diagnosis came as a massive shock, but the charity was there for us every step of the way. In a time which can be extremely confusing and isolating, The Huntington’s Disease Association team were welcoming and really understand what individuals and families are going through. The donation from this event will help things like research and provide so many families like mine with essential care and support, and a sense of community which makes a huge difference to their lives.”
Heidi McLaughlin, Visitor & Experience Manager, adds, “Everyone at H&W was moved by Alice’s story and inspired by her family’s determination to create a positive outlook around the condition. The Huntington’s Disease Association is a brilliant charity which provides a valued member of the team with constant support, and we’re proud to give something back.”
Among the drinks available are the following Badger and Outland beers…
