Outland Beers Launches New India Pale Lager

The Badger Brewery is excited to reveal our latest creation and the newest addition to our craft beer range, the Outland India Pale Lager (IPL).

What is an India Pale Lager?

IPL, otherwise known as India Pale Lager, is a hybrid beer style that combines the hop-forward character of an India Pale Ale (IPA) with the clean, crisp finish of a lager. This style has gained popularity for its refreshing qualities and sessionable nature, making it an ideal choice for both casual drinkers and craft beer enthusiasts.

What is the average flavour profile of an India Pale Lager?

• Aroma: Expect vibrant hop aromas with notes of citrus, pine, and floral undertones.
• Taste: A well-balanced blend of hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness, with flavours ranging from tropical fruits to earthy pine.

Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds? We’ve smashed together the flavour of refreshing premium lager and a modern hazy IPA to create a truly unique hybrid with our new India Pale Lager.

A trio of banging hops (Hallertau Blanc, Citra and Chinook) bring the refreshment of lager and the bold pine and citrus of a classic IPA. The greatest combo since beer gardens and long summer evenings.

With a pale, straw-like colour, a subtle lager aroma, and the taste of powerful citrus hop notes, our new brew really is the perfect all-rounder.
